Legislative Update
As of today, all proposed legislation relating to vapor and nicotine products has been defeated for this legislative session. While this represents positive news—many of these bills would have severely impacted the industry and cemented the existing 95% tax permanently—we face an ongoing challenge with SB5814, which remains unresolved.

With the legislative session concluding on March 12th, the double taxation provision will continue unless action is taken immediately. Legal intervention appears to be our most viable path forward.
